Mike has been a Magistrate on the Teesside bench since 1988 and he also sits in the Family Proceedings Court, his wider involvement in the criminal justice system included 12 years as a Member of the Teesside Probation Board and its presecessor bodies.
Mike believes that his experience, together with a variety of roles in accountancy and human resources in local industry for over 30 years allows him to make a real contribution to the work of the Police authority.
