Have you had great service from your local Neighbourhood Policing Team?
If so there’s a chance to recognise their efforts by nominating them for the annual Cleveland Police Neighbourhood Policing Team awards.

This is the third year that the Force and Authority have organised the awards to highlight the work of local officers, police staff and volunteers who have gone the extra mile to serve their local communities.
Nominations can be made in six different categories:
Neighbourhood Police Officer of the Year
Neighbourhood Police Community Support Officer of the Year
Neighbourhood Special Constable of the Year
Neighbourhood Volunteer of the Year
Neighbourhood Team of the Year
Neighbourhood Officer Best at Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour
Says Cleveland Police Authority Chair, Mayor Stuart Drummond “Our Neighbourhood police officers, community support officers and volunteers are literally the bedrock of our work to protect local people and tackle the crimes and issues which affect their daily lives.
“We always receive a very positive response when we ask the public how much they value their local teams and the awards provide an opportunity to give credit for their efforts.
“I hope as many members of the public will take the chance to put in a nomination for the awards, whether it’s for the work of an individual or a team as a whole.”
Adds Temporary Chief Constable Jacqui Cheer “Neighbourhood Policing continues to be at the forefront of policing in Cleveland. These awards allow communities to publicly recognise police officers, police community support officers (PCSOs), Special Constabulary officers and volunteers who, on a day to day basis, strive to resolve local problems affecting communities.”
